Visiting Tetbury Wacky Races

Tetbury is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the second largest town in the Cotswolds. It is the home of HRH Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, and the Duchess of Cornwall and, was an important market for Cotswold wool and yarn during the Middle Ages.  Today, it is better associated with boutique shops, great food, and its Royal Connections.

DISABLED PARKING is best approached from the CIRENCESTER  road and is the most direct route to the Wacky Races event. Arriving on the A433 reach the outskirts of Tetbury and look for the left fork in the road signposted The disabled area of the Rail Lands car park is to be found first left after the Royal Oak public house.

Motorbikes & Bicycles are also welcome in the Rail Lands car park.

Arriving from … M4 Junction 17 is 11 miles S of Tetbury. Take the B4104 towards Malmesbury then follow the signs to Tetbury. On the outskirts of Tetbury you will see The Old Tythe Barn on your right signposted Wacky Races Parking>

Arriving from …..  M5 Junction 13 takes you on the A419 /A46 to Nailsworth and then on the B4014 via Avening to Tetbury. Shortly after the Tetbury Town sign take a left turn signposted <Wacky Races Parking and follow St Mary’s Road to the School car park.

Parking for the day will cost £5. Preferred payment is by Contactless methods.
